Chris has been with Northwestern Mutual for over 24 years, starting in 1997. He has obtained the distinction of Wealth Management Advisor and has his Series 7 and 63 along with his Life & Health Insurance licenses. Prior to joining Northwestern, Chris attended Concordia University in Seward, NE and obtained his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He grew up in Manhattan, KS and moved to Nebraska for college. Chris lives in Lincoln with his wife Angie and three children, Cole, Noah and Ellie. He is active in coaching high school football at Lincoln Lutheran and is a member of the School Board there as well. Chris has also been active in leadership at his church, Messiah Lutheran, over the years.

Luke joined our team in the Spring of 2020 and is an integral part of our practice. He works closely alongside team members, and with clients, to develop, implement, and monitor the financial planning process that we provide. Outside of work, Luke is the Head High School Baseball Coach at Waverly High School. Just as with his clients and baseball players, educating and coaching people to success in all areas of life is a huge part of his calling. Luke received his Associate's Degree from Iowa Western, and his Bachelor's and MBA from Drury University in Springfield, MO. Luke resides in Lincoln with his wife Kelly and son Gabriel. Luke also enjoys hunting and training hunting dogs. He often competes in field trial competitions with his two Irish setters, Brook and Blaze. Faith in God, is the driving force to pursue purpose and be the very best in everything he does.

In 2022, Cole became an integral part of Core Wealth management, leveraging his experience gained through a college internship with Northwestern Mutual during his senior year. A proud alumnus of Lincoln Lutheran and Concordia University Nebraska, where he excelled both academically and athletically as a football player, Cole brings a dynamic skill set to the team. His responsibilities encompass managing day-to-day operations, client interaction, and fostering strong relationships, all of which support the efforts of Chris and Luke. Beyond the confines of the office, Cole passionately channels his energy into coaching high school football at Bishop Neumann in Wahoo. In his leisure time, he actively engages in adult slow-pitch softball leagues, enjoys a round of golf, and embarks on winter hunting adventures.

Rob joined our team at the end of 2020 and is handling the Insurance Operations for our practice. He works closely with the rest of the team, as well as clients, to ensure that we are providing the highest level of insurance products and services to those who need it. Rob has an Associate Degree from Iowa Western as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. He has passed his Series 7 and 63 Securities exams. Rob and his wife Benet live just outside Lincoln with their son Leo and dog Marshall. Faith and family are the two most important things to him. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the guitar, hunting, and lifting weights.

Arlie joined our team full time in June 2018 and brings a high-level skill set to our practice. Prior to joining, he earned his Bachelor of Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Accounting with an emphasis in finance. As Director of Portfolio Research, he is responsible for preparing portfolios, investment selections, reports, and assists in the ongoing analysis of our clients’ portfolios. Arlie thrives on the highly analytical work he does for our group. Arlie is FINRA registered Series 7 and 63. Arlie enjoys watching and playing sports, as well as anything outdoors such as biking, hiking, and yardwork. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Darren is an experienced CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who joined our team in 2024. Prior to joining, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Business Administration and worked in various investment and life insurance-related roles at Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. Darren has worked diligently to advance his education in the financial services industry by obtaining the CFP®, ChFC®, and CLU® designations, as well as the FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 66 registrations. As the Director of Investment Operations, he works closely with team members and clients to ensure we are providing the highest level of investment products and services to our valued clients. Darren lives in Hickman with his wife Cherie and three children, Raelyn, Weston, and Calah. He is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and playing cards such as Texas Hold’em poker or 10-point pitch. Darren also enjoys watching and playing sports.

Shelby joined the team in August 2024 and handles our Insurance Operations. She received her Associate Degree from Southeast Community College and has held several insurance related roles at State Farm for nearly 10 years. As the Director of Insurance Operations, she works closely with teammates and clients managing and minimizing risks and costs associated with their individual insurance needs. She has her Life and Health Insurance Licensing in Nebraska.

Shelby lives on an acreage near Palmyra, Nebraska with her husband Kyle and their three children, Ryker, Haidyn, Reese, as well as their family dog, Brooks. She is active in multiple activities that her children are involved in (and with three very active kids it’s a lot of activities!) During her free time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, being outdoors, running, and watching & playing sports.
